I had a similar problem with Demon, I found it was the priority for
searching for the hostname, seems normal local dial up messed up the
connection with my modem connecting but that was that, nothing else, no
further access. Does Genesis have a find host option? Try turning this off
and see if that works, I just moved the priority from 10 to 0 in MiamiDX and
problem resolved itself.
